Installed new Airaid CAI and got a check engine light

I installed a Airaid CAI on my 2011 2500hd Monday and I was driving it today and I noticed the check engine light was on. I don't have a code reader and my truck only has 28 thousand miles. When I was installing the Airaid filter it kept falling off, but I finally got it to stay and I thought it just fell off again today, but it's on there nice and snug. All the wires are reconnected properly the sensors are in place and I'm clueless to what the problem is. One more thing I didn't unhook the battery when I swapped the sensor over but the truck was off.

Probably a MAF sensor. My LMM had a CAI on it before I bought it, and when the stock box got put back in it kept throwing a MAF code. It kept putting my truck into reduced power. Has your truck gone into reduced power mode, or did they get rid of that dumb ass idea for 2011?

Will it say reduced power mode? Or do I just need to feel it?

Is the intake a different diameter then the stock one? That could screw with your maf readings

Like the sensor adapting to the new airflow?

The maf is calibrated to measure the air flowing through a certain diameter pipe. you change the diameter of the pipe, you mess up the readings. That's my understanding anyway

Okay just took it to the dealership and they cleared the codes. They were P20EE and P2201. They said if it happens again I'm gonna have to put the stock intake back in.

I looked up the codes and the P20EE code is for poor quality DEF and the P2201 is the nox sensor.
