| Willie, I was not correct about XL. you are correct and I meant Premium API CJ-4 15W-40. I am concerned about the AMSOIL bulletin saying that the recommended oil change is per the MFG recommendation: " AMSOIL published Technical Service Bulletin MO-2009-10-01 identifying high fuel dilution in 2007 and newer light duty diesel trucks. AMSOIL has revised the drain interval recommendation for these specific applications to the longest manufacturer-recommended interval. Oil drain intervals can be extended further with oil analysis. Please click on the following link for more information:http://www.amsoil.com/techservicesbulletin/MotorOil/TSB%20MO-2009-10-01_CJ-4_Fuel_Dilution.pdf" That is why I said about 10000 miles. I would appreciate you wise advice on this subject. I had issues with my 08 Duramax turbo which would wine so loud under a heavy load I thought it would explode. It would never show up when the GM dealer tried to diagnose it. That mechanic said it was due to not changing the oil often enough. I never solved the issue and traded the truck. I look forward to your input. Thanks |

| You'll love the bypass filter setup, it keeps the oil so much cleaner! I used the billet oil filter adapter and the billet oil cap for the return on mine, along with their massive EaBP110 filter. .
