Can i mix them?

Was wondering if anybody knew what would happen if I mixed additives?
I have always run stanadyne performance formula and just bought a fresh case.
Recently joined the forum and read the additive test. Stanadyne is way down there and opti-lube is at the top.
Ordered a quart to give it a try. Was thinking about mixing them. Any comment appreciated.

Run one at a time until its gone, no use wasting it as there could be a reaction between the two. I wouldnt chance it. who knows, your truck may be the opposite of lab tests, wouldnt be the first time ive seen it.

They probably have very similar chemical compositions. I doubt it would hurt anything but I would do as stated above just in case.

1. I dont see any additive "test" thread

2. I always heard that stanadyne is one of the best additives available.

Your cost per tank with Stanadyne PF vs Opti-Lube is the same.
I'd dump the Stan on CL and make the switch.
