We just got the latest news in on the new coalescer fuel filters for the 01-10 Duramax. Turns out, they are being made by Racor which is no surprise. This is the exact same filter you would buy at the dealership, with a different paint job. We will have them in stock next week they are telling me, but I dont have pricing yet. Here is some more info on them.
I notice this has a 4 micron rating...doesn't the regular Racor have a 2 micron rating? I thought the coalescer was supposed to filter down to less than 1 micron? I'm confused.

Are these filters going to be available at gmpartsdirect.com?
