coalesing filter?

Prob mispelled but u guys get the point lol. Anyway yes or no on this filter? Is it better thah the napa 33910? I wanna order today so help a brother out. Thanks gang

Yes, it is the latest and greatest offering from GM, made by Racor. Some people have even reported better throttle response using this filter. Here is some more info on them.

i went from the old 10 micron ac delco to that and didnt notice any difference at all...actually i fuel limped it once with the new one which surprised me. i would assume its was better then the old 4 micron filter but i dont think it beats the flow of the original 10 micron filter

The coalescent filter is just a water seporater, I don't think it would increase throttle response. If it does I'd like to know how????

better throttle response? that would mean with the other filters they where not allowing enought fuel through only this new one. I don't seem to buy that.

A lot of people claim it ,but at low rpms ur using so little of available fuel flow it seems hard to believe that it could actually have better response.

Hard to believe, no doubt. There have been several people to post this though. Their old filter might have just been clogged so bad that the new one was a huge improvement, hard to say. Either way, they must have changed from the old style for a reason. Im more curious to see if these filters offer twice the life of the old.
