You should check out the article this month in Diesel Power magazine on 2-cycle oil. They have tested it with positive results. ATF contains additive packages in it that are not good for combustion applications.

The fuel additive study thats around here somewhere showed that two cycle oil helped quite abit if iirc..

I use the amsoil concentrate and it might give me 1-1.5 mpg kick but not hardly worth the money. If I knew a 2 cycle oil that would do the same i'd run it. Hell i'd try anything if I thought it would squeeze another mile or 2 per gallon out of this fuel guzzling sob.

are you talking about in the November issue or october?

yeah, i use a mix of Schaeffers Diesel Treat and two cycle oil.. works for me
