I have tried 2 cycle oil and also diesel kleen. Will be trying amsoil next. I have ran dex 3 1 qt to a take once or twice but only to help clean the injectors.
apparently you and i rip are just a bunch of idiots. Anyway 2 cycle oil is A WASTE OF MONEY. If you want to add stuff to lubricate your fuel system get any diesel fuel additive.

You should check out the article this month in Diesel Power magazine on 2-cycle oil. They have tested it with positive results. ATF contains additive packages in it that are not good for combustion applications.
I use the amsoil concentrate and it might give me 1-1.5 mpg kick but not hardly worth the money. If I knew a 2 cycle oil that would do the same i'd run it. Hell i'd try anything if I thought it would squeeze another mile or 2 per gallon out of this fuel guzzling sob.
