Best fuel filter and oil filter

I need to do a oil change and its time to change the fuel filter. Im thinking of using napa gold/ wix for both. I just wanted to see what was out there. also thinking of mobil one, AC delco, and bladwin filters.

PS: I do not want amsoil thank you.

Hands down WIX 33960 and 57202. They are 100% USA made. I have both in stock. The fuel filters are 4 micron, and have been proven to be the top seller for the Duramax.

Thanks!

Jess

The Wix 33960 for fuel and the M1-303 semi synthetic for oil would be my choices short of using the EAO oil filter from Amsoil which has the lowest absolute micron rating for an OEM replacement oil filter.

The Wix fuel filter is 4 micron nominal but 19 absolute which is right about where all the best OEM replacement filters are short of having an aftermarket fuel filtering system its pretty close to what you will get from the top filters.

Remember when looking for filter Micron ratings the nominal rating is only what the filter can 50% of the time. The absolute rating is what the filter will do 98% and above of the time, this is the true rating of a filter and what it can do for you.

Stick with AMSOIL. The benefits of using AMSOIL and EA filters outweigh using the WIX or any other brand filters.

Just 2 my cents.

Take care,

The new coalescer fuel filter made by Racor is the the latest and greatest technology for GM made by Racor. This filter replaces all older paper element fuel filters and is the same filter you get from the dealrship. Here is some more info on it.

The Baldwin Fuel filters are now made in China and why we have gotten away from them. The oil filters are still made here though.
