Also, please keep in mind that I am not saying ANYTHING against Shaeffer's a a brand of oil, although I have not run it myself, I have heard a lot of good things. But then again, I am not one to bash on any product just for bashing sake or to make our products sound better.

If you look on Bob's The Oil Guy there have been 1000's of analysis's done. Below is one from a member here and it is the most recent one I have, I have not scanned any others lately.

God Bless

It's nice to see you took my advice to spend some time at BITOG. There's a lot of lube info on that site...

Most will disagree but I'm a believer that it's more about quantity than quality. I believe you are better off spending money on MORE oil changes than the type of oil you put in.
My 2 cents worth

I see your point if your using dyno or other synthetics. With AMSOIL it is formulated to not break down like others, hence saving you money on oil changes and protecting your motor better.

Take care,

I guess the issue I have that assuming everything else is equal, foreign particles get in your engine the same regardless of the oil you use and they do damage as well as oil break down. A huge oil study was done years ago using the hard working NY Taxi considered the hardest treatment for the otto cycle. Mobile 1 thru re-refined was used and after 100,000 miles the test vehicles were dismantled and the wear was negligible. The main summary point was it's not the oil so much as the regular maintenance that will protect the internal components best. Like I say many will disagree and we all take care of our rigs like we think we know best. I say good luck to all.
