Alternative Fuels - Diesel - Additives - LubricantsDiscussion Of Diesel, its Various Additives, Oils, Lubricates & Alternative Fuels EG. Bio-Diesel ect...
Just wanted to let everyone know what kind of numbers I'm getting with Amsoil from front to back in my truck.
I have changed over all my fluids in my truck to Amsoil here is the list of fluids I switched over to:
Engine oil: SAE 15W-40 Heavy-Duty Diesel and Marine Motor Oil
Front and rear differential: Severe Gear 75W-90
Trans: Torque-DriveŽ Synthetic Automatic Transmission Fluid
Brake fluid: Series 500 High-Performance DOT 3 Brake Fluid
Power Steering Fluid: Synthetic Universal Power Steering Fluid
Fuel additives: Diesel Concentrate and Cetane Boost
First good highway trip with no load to test out the mileages since changing everything over to Amsoil. So with a stock LBZ we made 20.2mpg hand calculated going 80mph with two stops and some idling time.
