Fuel Filter Change

My 07 Classic GMC truck just turned 8000 miles,I was told to change my fuel filter every 10,000 miles,I wanted to change it sooner being the first time,I was also told to make sure I use AC Delco filters,which I would anyway, I called and got a price on a fuel filter and they quoted me a price on a kit,at the time I didn't think to ask but is there more than one fuel filter on the Duramax,or was this for something else?? Thanks

I just bought two AC delco filters at my local dealer for 32.95 a piece. Also, there is only one fuel filter on the D-max on the passenger side of the engine.

I bought the fuel and oil filter from dealer $60, i would recomend using ac delco but not buying through stealer
