Diesel plus HHO

Is anyone out there running these HHO generators? Seems too good to be true. Wondering if there is a down side and what issues one might encounter.

Apparently, after doing some internet research, other diesel owners are seeing a HUGE increase in MPG numbers. Plus they are seeing lower EGT temps as well.

The site below sells a kit for $697

If you are talkin' about "Brown's Gas" remember this: Hydrogen is EXTREMELY explosive and Oxygen is an oxidizer...it eats up things like rubber. Also, with Hydrogen it causes a condition known as embrittlement. It's 1st in the Table of elements so it is really small and gets in between the atoms of other molecules and causes them (over a period of time) to fracture and break more easily.

I've already made a test unit just to see it the manufacturing was legit. Sure was. Produced 9oz in less than 1 minute. My biggest problem is finding the vacuum line fittings I want.
Anyway, I plan to vaporize the hho through a light lubricant oil to lessen adverse affects.
I am crossing my fingers here. Looking forward to it turning into a lucrative business.
Cross your fingers with me. I will let you know how it goes.

There is a product being touted on the net that claims to prevent the embrittlement problem. You add it to your oil. I've not used it and have not experimented wiith the Brown's Gas because of my fear of embrittlement. What we need is an unbiased fellow with an engine he would run on browns gas for an extnded period. Then a tear down to see what was going on.

sacrificial engine

I have an engine I would be willing to sacrafice. I have a single cylinder 6 hp diesel that I am trying to figure out what to do with it. I make sure my biodiesel runs in it before it goes in my Dmax. I will be getting a generator head to bolt up. I will be willing to run anything to test it, got it for free so it's no big deal if it breaks.

we may be able to work something out.
I will let you know when the product is finished.

My biggest jam right now is finding 5/32" elbow vacuum line fittings.
Everything else is available locally.

Man am I glad to hear (or read rather) you guys talking about this, I too am currently in work of building an "on demand hydrogen generator" or "brown gas" generator, the plans seem simple enough, I'm going to try it on my car first mainly because I drive 150miles a day round trip. and the cost savings alone is worth the risk to me. supposedly the plans I got are not supposed to cause deterioration except to none stainless exhaust and caty converters, ill let you know how it goes.
