i have a 2002 duramax. i am gonna be running the stanadyne, i am getting it for 5$$ a bottle, if i am treating 22 gallons. how much additive do i need for it??
manual says no additive but whatever. Everybody runs additive at some time or all the time. And over treating doesn't hurt it. I use fuel additive and 2 stroke oil for fuel. i think 2 stroke works better.

sorry for not adding before. Read the directions it will tell you how many ounces to treat so many gallons. But over treating will not hurt anything at all. Sometimes I will dump awhole bottle in just to know or at least think that it is getting cleaned.
