Mobil-1 "Turbo diesel truck" 5w-40 finally "CJ-4" certified!

Finally, the NEW production of the Mobil-1 "Turbo Diesel Truck" oil in 5w-40 is finally finally finally "CJ-4" certified by the A.P.I.

That means the new diesels with DPF's can finally run Mobil-1 synthetic oil!!!! The old label of the Turbo Diesel truck oil was only certified as "CI-PLUS" which the DPF trucks can not use. Not any longer! Mobil finally made the switch to CJ-4!

Now, yes I know that Mobil-1 has had "Mobil DELVAC-1 ESP" 5W-40 for a while now. But, where could you READILY get the stuff? Very difficult to get. Also, it is only sold per gallon at around $30.00 each and most distributors wanted you to by a case (4 gallons at a time).

Now, with the "Mobil-1" Turbo Diesel Truck oil, you can get it at a quart at a time! That's great.

Lastly, I called Mobil's customer help number and they told me that the "DELVAC-1" 5w-40 is the EXACT same stuff that's sold in the quarts, under the "Turbo Diesel Truck" oil. It's just that the DELVAC is the "commercial" label and the other stuff is the "retail" consumer label.

It's also cheaper. Auto Zone now carries it for about $6.50 per qt.
