delo seems to be a pretty good oil my boss had a 7.3 ps and changed his oil maybe every 30,000 miles. once he hit 120,00 i dont think he has changed it since and it now has 185,000 and still runs great. i cant say anything about mobile 1. i personally us rotella synthetic and it idles quieter than when i used regular rotella

Run the Mobil 1. These guys started the synthetic trend and I've ran it in gassers for 15 years with no problems. My last truck was the Chevy 454 with over 160,000 miles. Before I sold we ran the compression and the thing was still like new. I've been running the 5W40 in the duramax now and have no problems. I noticed you posted a pressure question as well, I posted there also.

I believe 15/40 is recommended, unsure if you can run different grades with synthetic.

I hear that from time to time.

But I havnt seen anything conclusive from an independent source stating that Amsoil is the best. I have thought about using it, but I need to consider economics as well. At the moment I am not willing to go 25K miles between oil changes to see the savings.
