Made the switch . . .
After a long debate with myself, I sold my 2008 6.7 Dodge Cummins and went with an 08 GMC 2500. While my Dodge was fun (47RE swap, twin CP3's, S475 single, etc), this GM should have been what I bought 4 years ago. The SLT trim is amazing, ride is so much better and the Allison should be fun.
I look forward to spending more time on here and learning what I can! Only one picture so far - more to come. What I have planned for it is fairly mild, for now. Normal bolt ons, EFI tune, converter and trans rebuild kit. Down the road, head studs, drop-in Garrett turbo, nozzles, etc.

Not an LTZ, an SLT if it is a GMC, but congrats on the switch. You wont miss the cummins a bit.

Welcome to the Forum man! Congrats on the new truck. LMM's are amazing for sure.
You won't need headstuds either, which is nice cause that's a pain if you wanna do gaskets too, because the LMM will eat a piston before it ever lifts a head.
With a turbo, nozzles, upgraded single/twins, trans, lift pump, tuning you can be at 600hp and above pretty reliably!r
