how to spool turbo for burnout?

im new to the diesel world, bought myself a 07.5 crewcab with 4' mbrp exhaust, PPE 5 stage programmer, afe intake, and EGR valve block off.

i guess my question is when the time comes and someone calls me out cough dodge owners cough cough. how do i PROPERLY spool the turbo, for a burnout or a drag? i know that there is no healthy way. but i just wont be able to back down if one of these guys start with me.

in my attempts to do a burnout the wheels start to hop on me. and i never hear the turbo really spool up. (this is during powerbraking). i know these trucks can lay rubber so what am i doing wrong?

Why do you want to do a burnout? Theres no need to do a burnout if your street racing and running street tires, you'll get less traction if you do. Burnouts are for races tracks and slicks.

hold the brakes, add throttle, release brake to go. Its easier to dial in with a boost gauge. Just be careful with 4wd boosted launches on a stock front end.

Keep doing burnouts and it will be....burnouts are about the worse thing for a transmission in the world.
