our club does this all the time and 1st off duramaxs dont do to well due to the ifs especially if its lifted. and there are many things you can.. do but adds to more breakage such as putting tire pressures way down. weighing down the rear of the truck but most off the people where im from wont hook you if your weighed down. also tires and gearing are a big thing and def use 4 wheel hooking in 2 is pointless you will both just do a nasty burnout. also you DONT want tire spin so look at your tires while your pulling and use the break and gas at the same time trying to keep them at either no spin which means your not going anywhere or very little forward spin till you drag there a$$. i understand most people on here dont understand/like doing this but we all find it very fun and there are more and more of these events happening and more and more of these trucks built to do this. HOOOK EM UPPP <-------------->

i actually like hookin up and have a competition coming up. last time i hooked my front end about broke so i put tie rods on and idler and pitman supports on. now im dropping the front end all the way down until driveline is level and strapping it down. also hangin tractor weights on front and putting 6x6 blocks between axle and frame on rear with traction bars then loading the rear down with tractor weights and a few scoops of dirt.. any other suggestions?? im pullin in unlimited class with cash prizes... air pressure at 55 front and 65rear... good? bad? thanks for any help

yes justin everything you said there is a good idea but def. drop tire pressure way down and you should do really good im glad you have tie rods and everything because i have seen to many try without and about get everything ripped out but if your pulling in the unlimted class your going to be going against massive trucks with alot more weight so try and find as much weight to put in the bed along with the tractor weights in the front
