Luckily I don't have air bags its easier to put in some blocks. Hey James at least you wont be pulling with training wheels on anymore.

well in a way it was more fun playing with the training wheels since well no suspected a truck with training wheels to be fast so when you run with a STI you get looks of disbelief! also the dualy loved the dirt track,i think the RC might get a set of duals with 35's for sled pulling! i need more traction! the last pull we hit 4th gear and still bounced off the rev and that was with 285's,we even had smoke coming off the tires!running Goodyear MTR's with Kevlar!

block the rear, need 1.5" of suspension travel.

go get 1000 lbs of ready mix concrete at home depot put most in bed, then 3 or 4 bags in passenger side footwell.
works well if you cant hang weights.

sicne when can you pull at 7400lbs in a 8k or 8500lb class? dont you have to meet the max weight ?????

I was just thinking could a guy build a weight rack from the front using the tow hook eyelites? I am not going to build one but then you could unbolt it from the frame when not pullin the sled and you could re install your tow hooks. I have a friend build a cattle guard using those eyelites and it works pretty well.

Just trying to give you a few ideas to make it clean as possible

Make one going off like a hitch style...like small reese hitch recievers one both sides that way all you have to do is pin your bar on... I hope you understand that? having trouble explaining things today...lol

Yeah I have the weight now I was pulling in the 8000 and 8500lb class weighting in at 7300lb max and some of the brush pulls around here give you 200lb over for the farm boys with all the weights in the world.

Yeah my weight rack will be built and the tow hooks will be removed. No need for them when you have a heavy set bar that should be just fine for using if needed to pull someone out.

.
no fair, everyone should be limited to the same weight, with in 20-30LBS of the max limit anyway!
i would give up 100HP for 200extra LBS..the last pull i was at i had a stock LLM dually beat me.seriously, the difference was he had the weight(he was over by a little)plus straight tread tires and i had the power with MT tires and spun them so hard in 4th gear i had smoke coming off them!i should have gone for 5th gear!also i was 300LBS shy of the max weight
