Traction and Airbags...

curious about how adding airbags and removing a leaf or 2 will effect my traction.....

i currently just have clamps but if i install the bags and remove the leafs they would have to go...not sure on the effect this will have...your thoughts?

usually can pull 1.8x 60's...would like to at least keep it that way if not improve

It should be the same I believe...you still have the same amount of weight sitting on the wheels...but IDK you might have to add some traction bars to get rid of axle wrap

yea its the wrap that i'm scared of... this might be a project that has to wait for caltracs

yeah if you throw a set of those on there it shouldn't be a problem

get caltracs first beech.

you gotta pull the leaf pack anyways to install a new aluminum bushing for the cal-tracs so mind as well pull a leaf while your at it.

yea looks like thats what im gonna have to do...

caltracs < transmission in the great scheme of things so it will prob be a little while before i do it.
