| What do i need? what do i need to get my 06 LBZ into the low low 14 sec range and POSSIBLY into the high 13's? I have a stock trans and won't be upgrading it until a few years when its paid off! I have my 4" mbrp catback coming in already. What tuner do i need? i was thinking edge juice w/attitude would work, but should i go with PPE and use level 2? will that be enough? thanks |

| I think you are going to need a bit more than a PPE on level 2 to get into the high 13's. That's a pretty quick time. Maybe the PPE Hot+2 on a higher level. Careful trying to get those numbers on a stock tranny, don't want to see ya burn it up

| Id say its near impossible with the stock trans. You'll probably have to do the trans, new fuel/lift pump, and EFI live should go a long way toward your goal.

| Well your stock trans will only take 90hp till you limp it and burn the clutches so the trans is a must. Id say that with the PPE hot+2 will get you into the high14's. If you do that for long it can screw up the injection pump by demanding to mutch fuel. So the dual cp3's could be needed.

| Well, do you have a auto or manual tranny? That will play a role in your goal to the 14's as well.

| I ran many low 14 second times with a stock tranny. I have EFI customers that have run in the 13's with stock tranny. DISCLAIMER: The clutches were being hurt at this level upon tear down. Never even had a limp!
Put a transgo Jr. in it for now and you should be alright running a 80-100HP tune that will get you in the mid to low 14's depending on launch.
EFI Live or PPE. |

| a Allison will last for a while running 13's but like Idahorob said it is doing internal dammage but doing a shift kit will help getting more line pressure and then you reduce your chance of internal damage.
do a PPE on level 4 and that should get you some really low low 14's and maybe a few 13 sec passes,i ran that tune on my LBZ for 50K miles and never to my knowledge did the tranny limp and to me it didn't feel like it damaged anyhting internal but thats going off what it feels like not what it looks like inside.
