Broke the D-MAX tonight

4-LOW, LVL-9 on the ppe, 40psi in the tires. Took second before the p-side tie rod snaped I seen it happing in my mind way before it broke, so no surprise. Cognito H.D. tie rods and braces getting ordered first thing in the A.M. Even though the D-Max is camping out away from home tonight I am still proud of her Next local pull is in sept. We will bolth be prepared for the next one.

No on the sleeves. I knew better then to pull without atleast some sleeves but once I got there, I said the hell with it Ill runner untill she breaks, and she did. Still got second before she snapped but I know I could have won. Only IF, lol..

doing the centerlink a tie rod sleeves will keep that from happening and if you have the extra cash and if your digging that deep into the frontend install a airlocker for the front diff it will make a differnce at the end of the track if both front ones spin the same amount.

I ordered the Cognito H.D. tie rods and the Cognito Braces this morning I also went to the local Napa and shelled out $60 bucks for a new tie rod to hold me over untill next week. I have been planning on getting this stuff for awhile just been super busy lately. I also looked into the EATON E-LOCKER but I am having a hard time justifying the expense since I will probably only use it once or twice a year. Maybe I will put it on the christmas list though.

Ouch yea wonder why they don't come from the factory with bigger tie rods. I looked at mine today and they are about as thick as my finger.
