front crank seals leaking, cooling system leaks are common, egr coolers blowing, injector bodies craking causeing fuel in oil (just like an lb7) bedplate leaking oil, h/p fuel pump leaking fuel into the crankcase (cab has to come off for that job) up-pipe bellows cracking causing turbo lag, ive replaced around 15 short blocks due to cylinder washout causing major gouging in the cylinder walls
