school me on 2011+ Ford diesel pickups

What's the word on theses trucks? I know the 6.0 was a pile of shit and I've heard the 6.4 wasn't much better. Do they have their shit figured out yet? What kind of typical problems are people seeing with them (the whole truck, not just the engine)? Can they be tuned and deleted? What kind of mileage are they getting compared to past diesels?

I'm considering selling my LBZ (that I'm mostly happy with) and getting into one of these instead. I assumed that my LBZ with the EFI tow tune (340 HP at the wheels) and turbo brake will probably tow about the same as the new Ford would?

Any info is appreciated.

6.0 Was a mistake
6.4's are fast if you tune them
6.7 don't know much about...

I asked specifically for info on the 2011+ trucks. You posted "don't know much about....." Run your post count up somewhere else and leave my thread alone if you have nothing but worthless comments to add. Thanks.

Well I think you would be better off asking a Ford forum,

I have read that that the new Ford Transmission is supposed to be pretty good and capable of handling more torque. (Truck trend I think). I know when I read the article it sounded like they had the bugs worked out. Of course only time will tell if they have any of the 6.0 issues! I also like the way they look!

Actually not so much. Because on a same brand forum, you get all the fanboys who have nothing but good to say and neglect to talk about the problems that everybody knows about. The opposing brand forums aren't afraid to point out the problems and weaknesses of the competition.
