I rode in one last spring that was twinned. Quite impressive. It would be even better if it didn't cost 15K to have it done.

you obviously havent seen a built 7.1L with that comment... DP is speculating, and doing a schitty job at that... these motors are powerhouses

No I haven't. but how much you really gonna gain from 26 cubic inch???
You can put rods and cut pistons in a 6.6 for under 5K if you did it yourself and run in the 10's easy with enough boost. Your gonna spend what an extra 20K in a complete 7.1 and with the same turbo setup how much HP are you really gonna gain??

I bet they are nice and are powerhouses and what not but like I said for the money no way.

Why don't you see more of these around?? Why don't the big guys use them??

Its more for the sled pulling guys.
Nick from duramaxtuner was driving when I went for my ride. The motor was noticeably more noisy. He said tuning it was different from the 6.6. He had a "tow tune" loaded. I watched the boost gauge hit 50. It felt like 650+ with mild tuning. If I had the cash, I would get it. It's only $2000 more than a regular build.
