I agree with you. I have never been a dyno queen and don't plan on it. I have always used the same dyno and it has always been different tunes and relatively similar temps (within 2-4 degrees). You know what your talking about for sure. I am a firm believer in the track tells the whole story. That is proven by these trucks making 1,000 horsepower on the dyno and not running 10's in the 1/4. Shawn Ellerton's 6.0 made 1,004 horsepower on the dyno, but his fastest 1/4 mile time is 11.32 @ 122 mph. You would think he would atleast be in the high 10's with that kind of horsepower...
I just think this dyno pull was legit and not reading high. There were no spikes in the curve. Hell, maybe he could have made more horsepower if the operator hadn't let out of it so quick. You can see on the curve when he let off of the throttle. It was already dropping power in the curve before he let off
yep

Our race truck dyno'd 1060 on fuel, but now at 140MPH and confirmed 6100lbs, we are at 1135HP. MPH vs weight = HP does not lie.
yep

My truck CCSB weighed 6870 without me in it when I weighed it on a certified scale just like it came from the dealership. 7500 lb duramaxes must have ton of crap on them. Only way to know is put it on a scale.
all the scales i ran across was with me in it and a over half a tank of fuel and most every time i weighed right at 7500lbs if not a lil over! thats with the LBZ in my sig!
