I didn't know where to put this thread so i stuck it here. Our shop has a 6500 flatbed with a 7.8l duramax in it. To tell you the truth it is kind of gutless. We are looking at our options on getting some more power into it. If someone ahead of you is doing 45 or 50 in a 55 we don't even have enough power to get up and pass them with out using up a mile of road. Anybody know anything about these motors and what the best route would be. It has to stay reliable being a tow truck. Thanks for any input.
