It burns diesel fuel from the truck tank to heat the engine coolant. There is an air intake (black tube) and exhaust (Silver tube) It sounds like a jet taking off. It's not loud, but noticable.

Wow, k- thought this was electric (outlet plug in). sorry, don't mean to sound like a friggin idiot, never heard of those styles before. Be nice if not around electricity

Really nice work. I had a few questions.

How did you connect the fuel line?

I have seen an Espar DIY for a Ram/Cummins that provided a T fitting to the fuel return line at the tank. I'm wondering also where you ran the electrical cables through the firewall, and where you connected the coolant hoses into the cooling system.

Finally, are you concerned about blocking the radiator for summer/towing cooling?

I'm thinking of doing this job myself.

Where did you buy your espar? I want to put one on my LMM too that i'm picking up on tuesday. How much are they, i priced out one for my cummins and was 1300 with the 7day time
