Wow that is one hell of a wright up! How long did it take you to remove the trans? I was thinking about removing mine and getting it redone

about an hour, but ive don e it a few times now. Average first timer will spend the better part of the day as it takes some getting used to how everythign comes apart.

did you remove your tranny while the truck was on a lift or did you d it on the ground on jack stands

When I get my stage V the guy clams the friend we are getting the swapped at can take them both out and put both back in with in 4 hours is that possible or no?

if you have a lift an know what your doing it can be done in 2 hours or less. An average joe with a lift can probably do it in 4 hours maybe longer.

Without a lift I have no clue.

I still think a stage IV is a much cheaper way to go. I think its easier to build the trans than it is to remove it and install it

Well I couldn't pass up the Stage V it has 10,000 miles on it with billet input and output shafts and after install Im paying just over $3,600. The guy that is swapping the trannys has lifts and the whole nine yards.

o well then it would be a wise investment.

It should only take 2 hours or less with a lift and all the right tools. My best time yet is 58 minutes but we had a lot of determination.
