Num 2 Num 7 injector harness repair kit

Does anyone know the cylinder/injector layout. I am putting on the injector repair kit and I do not know the layout of the cylinders?

how many miles do you have? that's covered by a recall warranty on the LLY. i had 4 old ones changed before the updated harness came out.

call your local GM shop, tell them your story... you shouldn't have to pay a cent. the reason the harness burns up is the wire gauge was not enough to handle the amperage load and differentiation in current going to the injectors. That Edge isn't doing much good for the situation either, so don't mention that in your call.. pull your chip and call GM bro.

Yeah thats going to be next because I just got finished with the install and its still going in to limp mode. Have one more thing to try bc it was also throwing the MAF Sensor code so Im going to re read the codes in the AM and see whats there.

Im starting to get frustrated! These codes come on even with the EDGE unplugged. I have unplugged it.

Also my GM dealer local said that it was not a warranty item and that they could not help me.

I've had my injector harness replaced once. How many times does it go bad before they give me the new one that has the upgraded wire size? Is my edge EZ causing this? My motor has a the same sound it had when it failed the last time? OH S

For the original question, I believe it's odd on the passenger side 1 in front & 7 back, evens on left.

I went into limp mode twice now within 15k miles on my 04 LLY, Injector harness # 7. The last time I was told that the harness was replaced and again today. Limp mode pulling a trailer sucks, I did have the Edge hooked up , At one point I did shut down and remove the edge, When it restarted it was great for 3 miles then limp again with the check engine light on,Any thoughts, Im
gun shy to drive it any long distance right now, Any thoughts ?

oh, be gun shy for surreeee! you need to hit the stealer and get the updated wiring harness. they should cover you under warranty (Parts & Labor), and if not, find another dealer!

Just got the truck back, Its fixed by replacing the # 7 harness and for a 100.00 deductable its back in buisness. Hopefully this will be the last time in for service

that $100 bones is bogus tho! call GM customer service, and plead your case for some free oil changes or something!
