$350 bucks including the part is a great price and may well be worth it. I just changed my FPR and it was a huge pain in the ass. I have an LLY so there is more crap in the way than the LB7 (intake tube from the EGR).

But got it done and the truck runs like it is new. I did notice when I took off the intake how much carbon buildup there was from the EGR. My next task is to block that off.

Wolfdagger, I hear ya on the price on the FPR. Dealer wanted $375, got it from Oregon FI for a little over $160 including shipping. The price for this part varies so much, I was worried that maybe I did not get the right part. Sounds like there is just a ton of mark up on it at the stealership. I also agree that $350 for part AND installation is smoking. I have agonized over doing it myself, or getting someone with the right tools and a little more experience (and patience). I made an appointment at a local Chevy dealer and they will do it for $400. Between the not having the time and just worrying about screwing something up, I opted for the professionals. I am really looking forward to getting the performance back in my truck.
