it is connected to the box that says 6.6L turbo diesel on it just take that off and you will see where it is. there is a hose clamp on it and a bolt at the back of the box

Yeah i saw that part. I see the bigger hose and clamp thats underneath the box and then i have a littler hose and clamp that is connected to the box itself. I see on some of these pictures that there is a separate pipe coming out. Do i plug the littler hose of the two?

i blocked off the res on my 03 and it made no difference. i plugged the little hose that feeds into the 6.6l box. so the actual plug is right off the main air intake housing. try it if you want but i didn't hear any difference, i'm going to try and bore out the mouth piece that feeds the turbo next weekend. will let you know if that gets more turbo noise

Ok that would be great. If you could and its not to much of a hassel can you take a picture of the finished product and send it to me, only if it makes a difference and maybe the steps to how you did it? If its a big hassel no worries, im sure i can figure it out. Let me know how she turns out.

hey i didnt notice too much of a difference with the resonator plug not a lot of guys with lb7's do its kind of hit or miss but less than ten dollars and five minutes of your time. i did the horn mod this weekend and that made a considerable difference in the turbo noise and seemed quicker to spool up than before. i would also recommend modding your stock air intake if you dont have an aftermarket already saves you at least $300 its very simple and feeds more air to turbo, only takes about half hour at the most.

Ok thanks a lot for the advice. I think i will take a min or two and try it out and see if it works. Whats the horn mod? I already have a K&N filter with Magnaflow intake and exhaust. Is that enough do u think?

its really whatever you want or need to get what you want i would be doing much more but currently dont have $1k to drop on a just a programmer everything cost 5x more for a diesel. but i have dont everything i could find on here that was cheap and do it yourself..the biggest difference maker was the horn mod...if you use the search and just look up lb7 intake horn mod there are many threads on it with pics

K cool, i looked it up and it looks easy enough. Looks like i got next Saturday planned out. Thanks for the advice. I know what your saying about everything being more expensive. I looked up a few of the things i want to do to my truck and it was just about $10,000. And that wasnt even everything. I guess all a guy can do is get it little by little.
