Fuel filter..........Did a search and came up 0

What are the tell tale signs that fuel filter needs to be replaced? Thanks in advance

Umm i know this has been discussed...maybe not in the terms you have been searching, but hanging shifts..not wanting to shift until you let off. Just change it every 10,000 miles or so and your truck will be a lot happier. GM says to change every 15,000

Yeah, i know your truck has the filter monitor on it, but i dont trust those things. Filters are cheap compaired to a new duramax engine.

Along with shifting errors, lack of power when under load and pulling hills, stalling mid way through 4th under WOT....just a few more symptoms.

I usually change around 7k miles (DIC approx 50%) with the older paper element filter. I'm using the newer (and longer life) Coalescer filter now...I'm just over 10k miles (DIC 42%) now, and no issues pointing to it needing a change yet.
