I hooked mine up under dash as stated and on high beam all are on. On low beam I still have to push fog light button for them to come on.

Yep !!! Ok, I got this to work, and it was working all a long... I thought they automatically come on even with the low beams on.... I put the diode back in and then hit the hi beam and the fogs were on...

Now, is there a trick to getting the fogs to come on automatically when either lows or highs are on... I am getting tired of turning them on everytime I start the motor up for the low beams ??

run a diode from low beam pin 85 to foglight pin 85..

point the stripe towards the lowbeam

It took 10 mins. to do both sides and onlt requires two crimp connectors. I can't wait for dark!
how did u get the fog lights to function with the low beams, high beams and fog lights??

Since you have a 04 you will probably have to run 1N4004 diodes from your high beam relay to your low beam and fog light relays. My 2001 does not have seperate high/low relays. I have one relay for both. I think your mod is covered in the begining of this thread.

A diode allows electricity to only flow in one direction. If this were done with a wire instead of a diode, I believe that even with the low beams on, you will get high's also. Maybe the fords are set up differently. Hope this helps!!
