Thanks for the knowledge everyone. Is there any risk to the turbo by running a boost valve?

If you don't have gauges to watch and make too much PSI it could go BOOM But if that does happen is it really a bad thing, darn I have to get a new turbo. And then you can tell the wife that the aftermarket "HP" turbo is cheaper than a stocker so it just makes sence

to add on to the above question because I would like to know the gains also, if you but a "T" in that line for your boost guage what side of the "T" should the valve go?

You can tell the the wastegate definitely opens later
