PPE boost valve install

Alright so I know that in my sig it says that I am running a PPE boost valve but I just havent put it on yet.

To install it, is it just that easy to cut a little but out of the center of the hose from the Wastegate and Turbo and then clamp it? Any response is very appreciative.

Just cut the hose between the turbo and wastegate, no need to cut any length out of the hose, then have some small hose clamps and clamp that thing in there with the arrows facing the wastegate iirc. Also, cut where the hose is straight, not bent.

Anyone can correct me if I am wrong. And feel free to, but it acts as a boost fooler so a code doesnt get thrown at higher boost levels.

It just keeps the wastegate from opening as soon. Basically the wastegate lets the exhaust bypass the turbine housing/wheel and this keeps your turbo from overspinning, the PPE boost valve will allow your turbo to spin faster by waiting to open the wastegate till a higher psi than before. Nothing to do with codes.

Thanks. Actually, the PPE boost valve, is a device between the turbo and the wastegate ( The wastegate, by the way, lets off exhaust pressure at a certain boost pressure) It restricts the flow to the wastegate, hindering the process in which the excess pressure it let off, producing higher turbo speeds and compression. Nothin electronic about it.
