Hey psyco, After running that for a few weeks is your filter on the bottom of you hose all black and covered in oil/soot?
No it is not. It has been like that for 6 monthes and it is still pretty clean.

psyco66, why did u rought the pipes all the way back to the fuel tank?? thats alot of hoes. im sure there are places to zip tie in the engine compartment. like next to the front diff breather pipe.
Put a lock nut on the test plug and you are good to go. I hate the way it looks when you pop the hood and it is missing the resinotor box. Looks like sh it in my opionon. I like the stock look. If there is a lock nut on the plug it can not back off.
I got a red "oatey" brand cap from Lowes($3.00) and I was able to put the box back over it. I mean correct me if Im wrong, but if its plugged it shouldn't matter what comes after the plug right?

Anyone done this on an LB7? I have seen two diff opinions on whether it needs it, but when I look at mine, I do not see the same set up, the intake "Tube" leading to the turbo is in the way, Does anyone have a picture of where it should be on mine? If at all? I do not see it... But I also do not have the Resonater, it came off when I put the K&N intake on, it replaced the entire tube, and the resonater came off with the factory tube...
Take a Look at what I am seeing instead...

Did my plug and reroute last night. I actually mounted the filter for the PVC reroute inside the resonator box then remounted it so you cannot tell anything has been removed or plugged until you remove the resonator box.
I saw the red plug sticking out in your pictures and was scratching my head thinking.. What the hell is that?! Then I read your description.
Did you drill a hole so the resinator box can breath with the PVC air going into it?

Not at first, but after a couple of miles I realized it did need a ventilation hole. Thanks for the input. By the way my filter constantly puffs a light mist of smoke is that normal?
