Well i hope so. I have a new hydro boost unit, thanks to warranty, and i don't want to have to do another one.

Replacement's easy, just hard on the wallet for $400.

Dealer Warranty? I would think they would flush when unit was replaced, then again, who knows.

They was supposed to flush it, but i don't really trust everything they say. They are the ones that told me i have no coolant loss issues but i found a leak on my passenger side rear corner of the head gasket the other day.

I saw your post on the HG and it got me to thinking...you may have noticed a post I had for a 'Massive coolant leak'. In tracing this leak I had coolant in the areas you have noticed, just to a MUCH larger degree.

Have you inspected this hose that blew on me?

Massive Coolant Leak

i haven't inspected that hose, but there is no coolant above that area. It all starts at HG and runs down from there. I will inspect that hose and hopefully that will be the problem.

The Power Steering/Hydro Boost flush was very well done!
I have a leak between HB and Master Cylinder. I'm thinking about getting a seal kit and rebuilding instead of replacing the whole unit. Anyone have a write up with pics on doing this? Info is much appreciated.

TEXAS!! FIGHT!!!

Sorry I just now saw this. My email notification doesn't always work...? Yes this makes a huge difference in the feeling of the steering. It was very easy to follow the steps and it only took me less that 30 minutes. I would be be prepared with 4 quarts and maybe a little longer on the fuel hose, maybe 8 feet (longer if you sit up high with a lift or bigger tires. Just FYI I also changed both differentials, transfer case, transmission, oil and filter, fuel filter and lubed the 11 lube points on the front end.
