| so i am missing EVERYTHING i need to make this thing run That is part of the reason this project had my intrigued. I have a complete running 6.2 here and a full set of 6.5 injectors, lines, and pump. Which i knew i would not be able to use the lines. i had planned to adapt the CP3 drive gear to my DS4831 or DB2 and figure out how to possibly adapt the 6.5 injectors to the Duramax heads unless somebody had an idea of different injectors that would be mere effective in this build. | The cp3 is not mechanical, how do you plan to operate the fuel pressure regulator. Again, lets be honest here, you have NO Idea how any of this works and you have a general idea. You aren't adapting ANY of this electronic stuff to make it work. You either need to adapt a mechanical fuel system to make it work similar to the video or just give up in general. No offense, but it doesn't sound like you have the knowledge level required to make this work. The ability to machine or fabricate is a small portion of making a Frankenstein like you have discussed in your troll thread.

| A mechanical duramax has been done: Cheaper, probably not, I believe you would have way more in this setup than you would in just wiring up the electronics.

| I understand a CP3 is not mechanical. this is why i want to replace it with a mechanical one. You state that i dont know what im even talking about? If i did not know what i was talking about i wouldnt even think of trying this. And this stupid MF tractor i keep hearing about? that is in no way the kind of injection pump i am thinking of. just take a look at the pump and you may understand the fitment Stanadyne Remanufactured DS4 Injection Pump WITH PMD GM 6.5L |

| EMP, electro-magnetic pulse= weapon. Kills all electronic devices in its range. Car electronics fried= useless car/truck. That being said, the idea of elctronic free duramax is awesome, not impossible just d@mn near. If you are lacking the funds then completely re-enginerring the fuel system doesnt seem possible. Its going to cost some cheddar. Might as well sell the core and pick up a cheap 12V and make it work. My 2 cents.
