ABS, and brake light

My first post: '06 3500, dually, ABS light and brake light on all the time, I have gone through every thread in this forum, bled the brakes, gravity, and the pump and bleed method, I replaced both front wheel bearings, inspected every wire, no codes on the OB2. I consider myself a competent wrencher, but I am at the end of my line with this.
I am ready to go to the stealership, as to understanding there is a method of brake bleeding, I am not aware of.
The truck is basically stock with just the resonator plugged and a Fluidamper on the crank.{old one came apart 1500 miles out of warranty} I certainly would appreciate any input the Gurus' of the duramax could advise me off. I know there are other posts of this problem and I have read them, and reread them.
I look forward to adding my input to the forum as I learn more about this truck... Thank ya'll.....

go to the dealership, have them read the codes with the tech 2, then go from there. it'll cost ya 100 bucks or so.

Welcome to the forum!

How did you check it in the OBDII? Some scanners dont go in the brake system. Id take it to a parts store and see if they can check the code. Theyll do it for free. That doesnt work a shop or dealer. Your answer is in the abs and brake light!

Had the same problem with my 2000 2500HD gasser. My problem was the brake module. Dealership wanted major bucks to replace.

Found a company that rebuilt them. Pulled the module, sent it to them. Everything worked out great. Cost was a fraction of what the dealer wanted.

Hopefully your problem will not be that bad.

You have probably lost the anti-skid function.

Sorry to interupt the thread but i may have a similar problem. 07.5 lmm and my abs brake lights are on all the time as well. I had a shop plug it in and it came back as the passenger side rear speed sensor or something like that. There is also a leak there b/c i noticed dark fluid on the inside of the tire and more around the brake. I've already replaced an axle seal there and not sure what else it could be. Could there be a connection between the leak and the abs/brake light coming on in the dash?

You mean you had the ABS brake Control Module Re-Built?

Where did you send it?

I had the ABS Module rebuild done by Module Master in Moscow,ID. They repair the module problem and replace common weak spots in the circuits with heavier duty parts, higher wattage I suppose.

Fast turnaround.

I know you more than likely looked at the fuses already but you could have a blown fuse.

sometimes you tend to overlook the obvious, never thought about a fuse, will go back to square one....
