Hell no, the bigger the better. We're the United States Fucking military. If someone on US soil doesn't like, they can eat a bag of dicks.
All emotion aside, to each their own. If that driver wants to pimp personalized plates, more power to em. I often see the long window stickers of the different branches in back windows, squadron/company/unit stickers on cars, and even a personalized plate or two around. I'm more low key abotu it, but everyone shows their pride/spirit in different ways.
I'm not a big sticker guy and done have any military affiliation stickers on my truck, except the post decal sticker on my front window (which I can get rid I now since you don't need them anymore...).
But im prob biased cause i had one of my old trucks vandilized due to military plates
I unfortunatly had to do a construction job in a hippy college town for a week and i had tires slashed, truck keyed, and a window busted out due to a set of national guard tags.
Went through all the police channels and got no where with the investigation and i would still live to find the punks and beat the f*** out of them.
But i digress
I think the biggest for me is the "13bang"
Now 13brvo i think would have been better but thats just imho
Either way we still exchanged the interservice respectfull headnod l
Was just curious on others opinions Sent from AutoGuide.com Free App
So your position on the matter is influenced by a previous incident regarding your display of military pride. That is totally understandable.
I wouldn't stop reppin my service just because a bunch of "peace loving" unwashed hippies forgot about the peace loving part of it and vandalized my truck, though I would definitely take it into consideration when choosing where to leave my truck during work and overnight. And I would probably do a little surveillance and hippy hunting myself since it sounds like the cops were worthless.
Fortunatly i do not work construction anymore so i do not have to worry about putting my truck in that situation anymore and now the more i think about it the more i am leaning back towards veteran plates for my truck:thumbup:
13 bang means 13 bravo. 13 is the army's numerical designation for field artillery and bravo is the designation for cannon crew member. Now to put it into a term for most civilians to understand, this guy shoots cannons (155mm or 105mm) for a living and we are also known as the king of battle. I am a 13 fox or forward observer, I am the guy the is way out in front of the cannon telling them where to shoot at the enemy, also I am the guy that is controlling fixed wing and rotary wing aircraft and directing them as to where the enemy is for destruction (That Iis what the picture is in my signature)
Ahhh., got ya. I wasn't understanding the nature of the post, but now I do. But on another note.. I had a custom plate.. and removed it. It draws way too much attention from the people you normally hate the most.
It was good, only took half the day. Luckily I didn't have a hole in my case. Doing both cv's and axle seals today. Starting to hate my truck little by little each day, when it rains it pours.
I am a pretty low key guy when it comes to stuff like that. But then again I joined the army when they were still teaching loose lips sink ships
