Well I finally nutted up and decided to get my truck on the dyno to give me a rough idea as to where I m at. And all I have to say is wow what a blast it was to see her on the rollers struttin' her stuff which wasnt a whole lot but oh well I was happy.
Sorry for the crappy vid but it was the best I could do. Heres the dyno sheet. Not quite sure why they didnt show the torque down low tho.
Now it looks like its time to call up Big Dipper and set up an appointment cause i ve got the itch for more reeeeal bad.
Completely incorrect. This is why people use dyno's as TOOLS, NOT GAUGES.
A dyno dynamics dyno is a load bearing dyno, not an intertia dyno. It will read lower than your typical intertia dynos, that spit out ridiculously high numbers that are just used to inflate egos.
A dyno dynamics dyno is actually the lowest reading load bearing dyno out there. But they are very nice to tune on... especially compared to the shitty dynojet 224x's that 99% of shops use.
Yeah thats kinda what I thought too. Supposely its at the wheels. Dyno dynamics was the dyno I had it run on. From what I gathered these dynos read low in horsepower but are usually rather close on torque which I thought my tq #s were bout what I was expe cting. And there as was a LBZ runnin duramaxtuners max effort with all the normal supportting mods and he only made 430 hp but 1100 ft lbs. So take it as you want. I got a baseline for what I ve got so now I m gonna see if I cant improve it some.
