so i saw this on DD thought some people would like this
this is a stock bottom end duramax with 60 over sticks dual fuelers and twins S480 over stocker..
pretty impressive. he had nothing done to the engine at all. no head studs or any of that
he bent all 8 connecting rods at this dyno lol
Holy god that's amazing. Someone said on here in regars to studs on an lbz/lmm "you will blow a hole through the piston before you blow a head gasket." I guess there's a lot of truth to that. :drink
makes me feel a bit better about my s475 over stock. but on another note he didnt give the pistons time to get hot enough lol he only had the duel fuelers on for like 4 days
You go first, im happy at 300rwhp. Whats funny, is that my ranger puts down like 130rwhp, I jump in the dmax with stock tune and think it's fast :rof :rof
We ran an 08 LMM with the identical setup for the better part of a pull season. It ate up-pipes like tic-tacs but made held up decent otherwise. Rods were all bent at the end of the season. Started the season at 750 rwhp and turned it up for the last 4 or 5 pulls to 811rw.
^^^^^ I actually called you guys and talked to someone about information about tuning and that much HP.... i was going to buy that guys dual fuelers off him but i decided to go with new ones instead.....
Was there a permanent fix for the up pipes shitting the bed?
Guess thats a definate addition to the list then i guess now isn't it?
