looking for some advise

ok hear it is im in IRAQ right now coming home in a few months. i have been buying upgrades for my truck and looking real hard at the efi live but have a few questions. so far i have a volant intake, 5 inch mbrp turbo back system, and woundering which trans up grade is best to run with the the efi live? my goal is a solid 20mpg to 22 mpg and also be able to tow around my other toy which is my 21 foot bassboat on long trips. and when i get a wild hair be able to got to the local track and let it rip and not have to worrie about the trans falling apart on me any help would be great. i was also looking at the bd performance exhaust manifold and valve body but if there is any thing else out there please let me know i can use all the help i can get

I would give IdahoRob on here a shout. He can set you up with EFI live and make you a tune that is trans safe.

The BD manifold is also a great mod to do. And i would think about gauges also.

Talk to a guy named IdahoRob on here...he is a tranny guru. A Suncoast kit will be your best bet...you can get a stage 4 that is good for over 500+ HP. He also sells EFI live and has a mileage tune that won him 2-3rd place at 23.7 MPG...or something like that. So he should be able to hook you up perfectly for what you want.

He should be good with all years and models. He seriously is the man when it comes to EFI and Tranny work. He sells suncoast and ATP stuff.

With EFI it's hard to say what kind of tranny upgrade you need. It just depends on how wild of a tune that you want. If you want to put down every thing that the stock turbo and stock CP3 pump can put out then go with a Stage IV suncoast.

Also i would add to your list some:

Guages (boost, pyro)
Lift pump
FPRV shim kit
Ported Turbo Mouthpiece

The BD manifold would be a nice addition, but i would wait until you have done these other mods to worry about the manifold.

i'm with BRC..Rob has lots of personal experience with the LLY and tuning so he has some sweet tunes avalible for you and anything from running with stock trans to stock tranny thrashing power.
