what is the best/safest tunes to run on efi live dsp5?

yes, ive heard 90hp is the highest safest hp on a stock tranny. and what about lope and smoke tunes?

I wouldn't go much above 90hp, and even at that I would be careful. Lope and smoke tunes are not recommended but its your truck

damn. i doubt id run that much hp. my truck has some small tune on it and it limped the tranny for the first time yesterday so its gotta go. i have no idea what kind of tune it is, it does smoke a good bit. a buddy has the same truck with no tune and mine is just a little faster, his cuts off at 95 mine keeps going so idk.

If you're already limping your tranny, then you'll probably want to either adjust that tune, lay off the throttle a bit or be ready to put some $$ into your tranny. As for the top speed difference, stock trucks have electronic speed limiters. Most EFI Live tuners eliminate that, thus the reason your truck doesn't shut down at 95.
