EFI help

I have a few questions about EFI and the dsp5 switch…I have a 05 lly with 200k miles first of all is it safe for my truck second is it as easy as ordering it and plugging it in third how hard is it to install the switch I do not know anybody that has EFI or that could help me with this my banks six gun fried and they wouldn't replace it so I got to find something else….…somebody sell me on buying this I'm thinking of getting it from longhorn fab shop

Suggestion... use the search function and read all you want on those three topics.

Although not the cheapest, it's probably the best mod you can do to your truck. We installed efi on 2 trucks in a little over an hour. And it was our first time doing it. We spent more time trying to figure out where to mount the switch than anything else. Thanks to Willie and Kory, any issues we've had have been resolved super fast. I'm sure he will chime in, but you might PM mrmanners(Willie). Kory Willis has got some great tunes and very clean.

Buy EFI Live, not a hard install, I personally would get tuning from either Idaho Rob at ATPTrucks.com or Kory Willis at Synthetic Motorsports.

Is there any mods I need to do to make it work better or is EFI live that good hope I'm impressed with it I am going to do a mrbp exhaust that and the EFI are really the only things I want to do lol

The LBZ mouthpiece is as easy as loosening two clamps. I would recommend a lift pump and EGR blocker plate as well.
