| i dont think your ecm will support more than 5 tunes as far as i know.. u can leave the laptop hooked up in your truck with 5 tunes on it and use laptop to switch tunes.. if im not mistaking, correct me if im wrong fellas

| What year truck do you have? 5 tunes is it without reflashing. Why do you need more than 5? Sent from my iPhone using AutoGuide.com Free App

| There's only one slot for a pin in your ECM. And what would you possibly need 10 tunes for? ATS does EFI tuning but you don't need to find a local shop. Your tunes are only an email away. You wouldn't need the laptop hooked up, the V2 or auto cal have standalone capabilities but it wouldn't be as easy as the DSP. Sent from my iPhone using AutoGuide.com Free App

| Ok that helps thanks alot guys this is prolly the most helpful site ive found so far its a LB7 duramax... im just not sure how all this flashing and such works... But i can read that stuff on threads that have been posted already and why not more then 5 tunes... hehe... then i could have all the ones i want... mind you i am only a 19 year old kid haha... also do you think it would be worth it to keep the LB7 and get efi or ive been thinking about getting a LMM what one has more power options? I know i will get bashed but nothing would make me feel better then to give some guy with his windows down a face full of smoke when hes talking smack haha... my tunes i want are 1.stock 2.towing 3.MPG 4.Mild performance 5.wild performance 6.Smoke 7.Lope and i think that sums it up... but im thinking i will give up the MPG tune and the lope tune... What kind of MPG ups can you get with EFI? Because this is kind of my weekend warrior i drive a KIA back and fourth to work for the gas mileage so i dont put a ton of miles on my truck... i dont want alot of smoke tho just like a little puff so people know shes alive(= |
