I think this is all overblown.........put your DPF on for the state inspection and take it off after you are done.

I deleted my CAT and blocked my EGR on my LBZ, it passed with flying colors and nobody even looked under the truck at my exhaust.

If it meets the requirements for the emissions test and passes who cares ???

Or just move to Texas !

I guess EFI Live disagrees with you Legal responsibilities for Tuners in the United States of America

EFI Live is not a blank screen. It is a software set with specific addressable capabilities (like disabling the dpf). The hardware just delivers the tuning to the truck's ECM.

The tuners are next, it's just a matter of time.

Is the Gooberment going to restrict tuning for legitimate "off road" use?

to many questions left unanswered yet in my mind ... we will have to wait and see how the off road/race area is going to work...

I don't see why not. Off road users are polluting the same atmosphere that I am while I drive on the highway.

Just wait until the govt. figures out what is really causing global warming. The Earth is like a giant microwave oven, and all the radio waves are increasing molecular motion. Then, Uncle Sam will confiscate cell phones, gps devices, satellite tv receivers, wifi internet, etc. etc. Oh yes, poosniffer, they're coming to jerk your CB radio right out of your truck.

After that, fart filters. Methane gas prevented from entering the air we breathe. Filter that fart, collect it, then harmlessly burn it every few days or so. Get ready.
