Talking ATP EFI in my near future! (LLY)

Got my ECM boxed up and mailed off to ATP today for some "Idaho Rob" "Built tranny" tuning. According to my shipping receipt, it should arrive at their shop Saturday (Feb 23rd).

Been wanting/trying to get this done for a looong time (couple years), just kept having other issues and setbacks that took priority. But I'm finally gettin it done.

Thanks to Dustin (sickdiesel) for the help and advice!

Still haven't entirely made up my mind on one tune, not sure what to use it for...

1. ??
2. Tow Tune
3. Mileage
4. Street Performance
5. Max Effort

Your tune 1 will be modified stock.. Pretty much dont have a choice in that. It's a safety thing so if your swith fails the truck reverts to the stock tune.

I personally liked having an anti-theft tune as my tune one with a locking switch.

put your optimal milage tune in the 1 slot and move the rest down then put an anti theft at the 5 slot, then if the switch failed you can still drive it

Good point guys... might just do that. Could the 1 slot be the tow tune? (then 2. mileage, 3. street, 4. max effort, and 5. anti theft) or would 1 need to be a "modified stock"/mileage tune?

I understand the necessity to have a "backup plan" as in a good default tune in case there's a switch issue. I guess it'd be best to make tune 1. optimized stock/mileage.

I appreciate the support and input! (that's why I come here)

I'm pretty excited!

they can be whatever you want, lets be honest tho do you think you'd ever use an optimized stock setting? wut do most people want, a-best milage tune b-race tune tranny safe and c-possibly a tow tune cuz thats another thing these pickups do!

you don't want your tow tune one cuz remember if the switch fails you'd want your best milage tune. just my opinion though, but a tow tune has a turbo brake on it so driving on that under normal driving conditions you probably wouldnt want

the optimized stock tune is good if some one else drives the truck. lock it in tune 1 and take the key out.
