I've seen a lot of people install it there. It's an easy spot to mount it if you don't want to keep it hidden.

No, but if it was mounted there I'd be worried about knocking it clean off with my knee. Not exactly something you wanna break, being that you could have power levels from stock to holy sh*t and you could be stuck on one level for a little while if you broke it. Just a thought.

thanks for all the input. I think i will be mounting mine right next to my overhead gauges. I will have to cut out a little part of the ppe gauge mount, but it should make a clean install. now all i have to do is add some length to the wires so they can reach the engine compartment.

I have noticed that most switches cannot reach the overhead. The keylock 5 pos switch has 12 foot lengths. I will get some pics.

mines by the turn signal switch works good and no use in hiding it cuase only takes a second to realize its not stock and my whole back window is a sticker

thats where mine is noone knows where it is
