EFI LIVE and factory fast idle

Whos got it? What OS is it ???
Since GM got rid of the elevated idle in cold climates

i need a way to keep the truck closer to operating temp that wont affect drivability

i know you can do it with the scan tool but i know that doesnt do you a lot of good.

With the DVT tab? Mine works intermitantly

It would work since the netbook is a full time resident in my truck

What ever will keep the operating temp above 150 @ idle its only 14*F here and thats all she will get to when idling thanks to GM

Why would the Bidirectional controls only work when they want and not when i want?

i dont know much about the efi live or anything on these Dmaxs yet. but i Do know that GM makes a "high idle" switch for these trucks. you can get at any of ur GM dealers its a factory accessery. i drive tow trucks and a friend of mine bout a new lmm tow truck and he can idle her up

Ya i know but the dealer says its factory option not a thing the dealer can do so they say im thinking its in the progamming
so if i can find out what OS its on it might work

Des, you wont be able to add the High Idle to the truck that was factory option. The elevated Idle on my truck worked with the 083 os. I can send you a copy of that os if you wanna try.
